| Indiana is nicknamed “The Crossroads of America” because it is where several major interstate highways meet or converge. It is a good place to settle because it can easily be accessed by land transportation and moving from one state to another is convenient. Also, Indiana's airports have flights that cover most states and cities of America so traveling to and fro is no problem. Indiana is one of the least expensive places to live in the whole of America. The cost of real estate is reasonable be it in the rural areas, suburbs or within the city. The prices of basic commodities are also affordable. Notably, Indiana has lower taxes as compared to its counterpart states. This low tax ranking is attributed to low taxes on households, lower residential property taxes, low sales taxes and low individual income taxes. For these reasons, people come to Indiana and settle there and for those already living there, they are satisfied and never leave. |
